Thankful for Everything

I had a crazy busy week last week. They’re all busy right now, so I really should be saying I had a normal week last week. I know many of you can relate. And I felt like poo a couple of days in the middle of my busy week, so needless to say, I’ve been playing catch up for several days now…
I usually do a little graphic for social media for football games, and I usually do one for holidays, and I usually do one for new seasons or months…well, none of those got done. However, I was surrounded by strong, wonderful women at a baby shower that I helped throw for a dear friend today, and it’s the first day of November. In 3 days, Van and I will have been married for 7 months. 7 months! Dang this year has flown!! I have an amazing husband, and I’m so thankful for him. The Olive Shoe turned two in October, and is steadily growing little by little thanks to hard work and amazing support from family and friends. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I had a great conversation with my Grandpa this evening, had a blast babysitting my nieces on Friday, and talked to Mom this afternoon with my Dad (aka the peanut gallery) interjecting little nuggets of wisdom in the background). My family is amazing. I have dear friends, well, a whole darn lot to be thankful for. Life is good.
This is an impromptu post with no pretty pictures or fancy graphics…just taking a minute to stop and post from my phone as we make our way into the holiday season, filled with hustle and bustle, and often forgetting the things we should be most thankful for. So as I pause from putting away my clean laundry…our warm, safe, happy little house on the corner…on this Sunday evening in the fall, I am thankful. Oh so very, very thankful. For everything.
