Bring Out the Nutmeg this Autumn Season

I am among the many who are so thankful that the fall season is finally upon us. It seems like this summer has been excruciatingly long! I am looking forward to cooler weather, breaks in humidity, fall activities, and fall flavors. One of my favorite fall flavors is nutmeg. I love how it instantly transports me to all of my favorite fall activities – fires, hearty meals, warmer clothes, football and gatherings of loved ones. This year I wanted to try some new dishes with one of my favorite spices – here is the list that I compiled. 

Savory – There are really a lot of great recipes that have more savory flavors to enjoy with nutmeg. Nutmeg adds a warming element to dishes; these are sure to be new family favorites in your home.

I am so looking forward to all the fall activities. Even though this year will look different – I am still looking forward to these comforting and traditional flavors. Oh, I seriously can’t wait for this weather to cool off so I can enjoy all of these yummy recipes!
