I love oysters in any form. I love them raw, cooked, fried. I love them for decor and to wear. They are beautiful and so delicious. I love them so much I basically ate my weight in them for my birthday this year – a tradition I hope to maintain. Thankfully, I live very near the best oysters in the world – Apalachicola. Unfortunately, those farms have been closed due to over farming and pollution. However, local restaurants can still farm for their own use. Since oysters are considered an aphrodisiac and we are heading into the month of love – I thought I would share some of my oyster favorites.
Recipes – These recipes are some that I have tried and collected over the years. They are sure to be enjoyed by everyone, even those that are most skeptical. Some are easy and simple to make, and others require a little more work but all are especially delicious.
